Had a lovely stay here, the cottage is well equipped and in a prime position to explore Northumberland. So much to see and do. Impressed with The Sill, fantastic view from the roof. Ely Cambridgeshire
First stay Yew Tree Cottage, mad a lovely time, delightful walks to Corbridge, Prudhoe and around the area. Visited Newcastle, Biscuit Factory (gallery) and Barbour shop. One of us went to lido at Haltwhistle. People and dogs (3) had a brill time. Sheila was so helpful.
We had a very relaxing stay. Just what we wanted. Lots of walks with Harry our retriever. We had a lovely meal in the Wellington (pub round the corner). Cottage is very cosy and comfortable and we enjoyed the treats thank-you. Lots of nice cafes and shops in For ridge and Hexham. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our second stay at Yew Tree Cottage. The Christmas decorations looked lovely and festive. With our dog we used the river walks many times and the train/bus return journey was so convenient. Our daughter joined us the second half of the week so proximity to Newcastle for shopping was super by train.
We had a fantastic few days staying in the beautiful cottage. We Re looking forward to coming to stay again later this year for a post wedding holiday. Many thanks. (Also from Murphy the dog) From Brighton
We've had a very relaxing break in this wonderful cottage. The village evening travelling kitchen at the Station (Riding Mill) is a great idea.
An absolute delight. Cosy, comfortable and everything needed. Area perfect for dog walks right on the doorstep. Wellington pub just around corner has a good choice of ales. Northunberland is hard to beat for a holiday!
Very comfortable and an excellent location. Had a busy week. Been to Cragside, Wallington and Belsay. Roman Wall and Sill. Corbridge lovely.
